I gussied up an older mermaid illustration to multitask on this fine day. #mermay #MayThe4thBeWithYou #colour_collective
One of my most treasured memories is spending time alongside some lovely friends at the home of Alice Provensen. We spend the art-filled afternoon visiting with Alice and looking through her and Martin's glorious sketchbooks. She was so lovely and influential and her talent will continue to inspire countless artists.
I had the pleasure of giving a guest lecture on "Professional Practices In Illustration" along with the lovely Christina Forshay at CAL STATE LONG BEACH. The students were wonderful. Thanks for the opportunity, Kim Dwinnel. The synchronized poses were not planned.
Me at Saturday's “Illustration West 56” opening night. They had the awards ceremony as well. It was a fun evening :) :) :) https://illustrationwest.org/56/children/zoo-zen/
